07 toyota tundra 4.7l starter location. On previous models yes it was under the intake but that was with the 47L. Discussion Starter 7 Dec 30 2011 OK- now I have the answer- the starter location on the 57L is on the bottom of the motor on the passenger side the 47L is under the intake- Had to send mine to the dealership because nobody had a starter and even they had to order it. The starter is under the intake manifold and takes about 4 hours to take the intake manifold fuel.

I found on the earlier models 47 is under the intake but nothing confirmed on the 07 47. I found out the 57 is on right side behind the heat shield. My husbands 2004 47L Tundra has recently started having issues starting.

Took it to the shop and they replaced the starter relay and it worked fine for a week then it started doing it again. Fortunately replacing the starter is not a difficult job. Just like title stated I have a 2008 Tundra Limited 4x4 and looking to locate the starter relay.
