2000 Toyota Tundra Cannot Turn Ignition On With Key
Theres a problem with your ignition.
2000 toyota tundra cannot turn ignition on with key. The Tundras ignition lock cylinder itself can go bad over time. Use a circuit tester to check all the electrical connections to the fuel pump. Put a piece of tape over it as a silencer that way you dont accidentally cut the wrong wire or disable a key function.
Your key is worn or damaged. Put the key in the ignition and can move it from the Lock position to the ACC position. Replacing them can be tricky.
Turn ignition key and nothing happens. Just be prepared to prove ownership to Toyota in some way. Much better than WD-40 because it wont attract dust.
Toyota - Tundra. Put the graphite in then put the key in and out of the ignition several times without turning the key so as to distribute the graphite then try turning the key. Engine Just Makes A Repetitive Ticking Sound And Wont Turn Over.

The steering wheel was locked up tight and would not budge. The ParkBrake Pedal interlock seems to be operating correctly. If that happens the vehicle wont start the steering wheel wont turn and it wont shift into gear.
